The vacuum sucker, referred to as the sucker, is a starting element that works by reducing the air pressure in the temporary sealed space formed after contact with the workpiece and using the pressure difference.
Principle of Operation
A temporary enclosed space formed by the suction cup in contact with the workpiece. The pressure in the enclosed space is reduced by a vacuum generator so that the internal pressure is lower than the external pressure. The resulting internal and external pressure difference makes the vacuum sucker and the workpiece squeezed together. The greater the internal and external pressure difference, the stronger the extrusion pressure, the stronger the extrusion pressure, the stronger the adsorption force of the sucker. Increasing the pressure in the closed space makes the pressure difference between inside and outside smaller and the suction cup separated from the workpiece. Based on the above principles, vacuum suckers are generally used to transport and fix objects.
Material and classification
Materials are generally divided into rubber, plastic and metal. Commonly used rubber material has NR, NBR, SI, FKM, PUR, NE, EPDM, SE, etc. According to their shapes, they can be divided into flat suckers, oval suckers, corrugated suckers and special suckers. The corrugated suckers can be further subdivided into 1.5 corrugated suckers, 2.5 corrugated suckers and various types of corrugated suckers. According to the way to reduce the pressure can be divided into pneumatic sucker and manual sucker.
