A brief introduction to circular saws

Oct 14, 2022

A circular saw is a serrated tool used to cut steel. Metal circular saws can cut steel as easily as conventional 2x4's of hose. The circular saw uses a unique material and tooth profile to cut metal faster, with better chip handling and no heat transfer during the cutting process, compared to previous products.

In the test, the average time required to cut a 6"x1/4" steel plate with a circular saw was less than 12 seconds, and the average time required to cut a 2"x2-1/4" angle iron was less than 6 seconds. Circular saw blade diameters range from 5-3/8" to 14", suitable for a variety of circular saw machines. The carbide tip of the circular saw is made of a mixture of tungsten carbide and titanium carbide, which can make the cutting process completely free of sparks and minimize the heat transmitted to the workpiece to be cut, thereby reducing the waiting time during the cutting process.

Circular saws cut faster: Cut steel, iron and stainless steel with virtually no frictional resistance.

No heat transfer during cutting: During the demonstration of the operation of the saw blade, we had some audience members touch the edge of the freshly cut metal, and they were all surprised because the edge of the metal was still at room temperature, and the reason was the carbide tip The unique metallurgical forming method enables only minimal heat transfer to the saw blade substrate.
